As others have mentioned, there is a lot of stuff on the Beatles, which will be great (or not so great) depending on how you feel about them. Lots of people missing. In my opinion, they could have done a better job of covering the R&B stuff that is still influencing rock and roll music to this day. If you're specifically interested in that, Bobby Bennett (DJ from WOL) has a great book full of into about that genre, which you're probably not aware of.
