... I am doing a unit on the solar system with my child care kids right now. I hung these from the ceiling fan in the classroom. The kids think it's super cool to watch the planets "orbit" the sun (light) when I turn the fan on the low setting. It comes with Pluto, but I just didn't hang that one up since it's not considered one of the planets anymore. The planets look really cool all hung on the ceiling; we tied the attached string to pushpins that we stuck in the ceiling, except the Sun was too heavy so we had to get a little hook that screwed into the ceiling to hang it on instead.
